Anthropolgy student Nathan invites his university professor and some of his fellow hard-partying, ritalin-fueled classmates to his familys abandoned rose ranch in Southern California, to recreate an ancient ceremony on what was once a sacred burial ground. The ranch is occupied by two dangerous oddballs living in isolation. One is Nathans brother, a bumbling loser who just wants to drink hallucinogenic Jimsonweed, abduct a nice girl, and stage a wedding-suicide. The other, a quirky meth cooker, is on a maniacal mission to find and kill the coed who caused the death of his wife and son. These two nuts do not react well to uninvited guests. |
